Skinny Dip in the News

I have the day off from work today & although I had all these grand plans to answer a million emails & write my heart out this morning, I’ve spent the majority of the morning lazing around reading a trashy novel that even I’m embarrassed to admit is in my possession (it may or may not be a book by another reality TV star. I know. I have a problem. Admitting it is the first step right?) I have a bit of writers block today (also, I’m worried that I may have totally traumatized some of you yesterday with “Tales of Super Dildo” post) so, I thought I’d share with you a few of the other things I have been up to lately. If you don’t follow me on Twitter or Facebook you might have missed some of these posts.

Do you have a slightly embarrassing celebrity crush? Since it’s “Guilty Pleasure Month” on Slice.ca, this weekend I guest blogged and shared my very own “Guilty Pleasure Celebrity Crushes“. I talk about everything from my shameful obsession with 1980’s George Michael to my much less shameful crush on my pint sized dream man, Gael Garcia Bernal. I had a lot of fun blogging for Slice.ca & I hope I’ll get a chance to write for them again in the near future!

At the end of July, I was really excited to be featured in Medium Magazine as their “Blogger of the Week“. I was interviewed by Brigid, who was super sweet & asked me all kinds of questions about how I started my blog & what its like to write about sexy stuff on the internet. You can read the interview here.

If someone had told me three years ago that I’d be a “Featured Personality” on a website called Sex Life Canada , I’d probably think they were kidding – but, it happened! Earlier, in the month I was interviewed by Sex Life Canada – an online magazine dedicated to promoting sex positive culture. This was my first “real” interview. Although I like how the story turned out & all the quotes are my own words, its still kind of bizarre reading about yourself as written by someone else. You can read the interview here.

Soon, I will organize all of these posts in a “As Seen On” or Media page on the blog but, in the meantime I hope you enjoyed reading some of these.

What do you do when you have writers block? What kinds of posts are you interested in seeing more of on Skinny Dip?
