Earlier this month, I was featured in the style section of the blog Pirates and Pilots! I thought you guys might like to take a look. Here is a link to the interview if you want to check it out. The photos were all taken at the perfect 50’s motel I stayed at during my trip to LA this spring. Thanks to the team over at P&P for putting this together – I really like how it turned out!
It feels kind of funny being featured in a personal style article (especially when I spend most of my time on here talking about NOT wearing clothes) and I am flattered that they even thought to include me. As I’ve said before, when it comes to my wardrobe, I think I’m pretty boring. This is kind of my go-to outfit: skinny jeans, t-shirt, flats & some kind of fun purse. Although I hate clothes that are overly complicated, I love, love, love purses & bags – the more fun or dramatic, the better. I love the feeling of a brand new bag: opening it up, smelling the brand new leather, putting my wallet and cellphone inside for the first time (before the bag inevitably gets filled with errant breath mints, lint, receipts & general life crap). Its a feeling that’s almost as good as sex. Almost. But, that’s just me.
PS. You can also check out the feature they did on my BFF Ange who totally knows how to work all those 80’s & 90’s looks with a modern twist. I think she looks cute!
What’s your go-to look? Do you have any fashion fetishes? (ie. are you a bag person, shoe person, etc?)
